Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) with strong experience in the technology industry.
• 15+ years’ experience across finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control under US and India GAAP.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage APAC financial closing process – coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure data is captured, reconciled, documented, and disclosed.
• Ensure APAC data complies with GAAP.
• Meet monthly US SEC close deadlines.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including process documentation and control matrices.
• Review and approve APAC accounting transactions; oversee APAC general ledger, sub-ledgers and fiscal records.
• Manage fixed asset systems.
• Manage APAC operating cash, weekly bank reconciliations, and reporting.
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
