Job summary

ALO is seeking an Assistant Buyer for the APAC Division in a fast-paced, global environment. You will report to the International Buyer and support reporting, data analysis, and operational tasks to enable successful APAC market execution.

You will maintain reports, track inventory, assist with pricing and assortment setup, and collaborate with Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, Marketing, and Production to ensure timely deliveries and accurate data insights.

Qualifications

• BA or BS preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience or relevant internships in merchandising, buying, planning, or retail.
• Strong interest in international business; prior exposure is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with data and learning new systems.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for the APAC business.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels across APAC stores and e-commerce channels.
• Assist the Sr. Buyer with seasonal buy preparation and data organization.
• Monitor and track shipment status and warehouse ETAs.
• Help identify and communicate any delays or risks related to product deliveries.
• Support basic sales analysis (in-season and post-season) and help compile insights for the team.
• Attend team meetings and take notes, tracking follow-ups and action items related to the APAC business.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, Marketing, Production) to help execute day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in preparing presentations and recaps for internal meetings.
