Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Senior AP Leader to manage Direct Store Delivery accounts payable processes. You will supervise a team, optimize invoicing with a 3rd-party provider, and implement strong internal controls across the department.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with 3 in-person days at Salisbury, NC or Carlisle, PA, and 2 remote days, with emphasis on accurate, timely execution and collaboration with multiple internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 6-8 years AP experience, preferably leading teams.
• Strong accounting theory and practice knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel (lookups, pivot, macros).
• Experience with GL analysis and reporting queries.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop AP team to ensure timely tasks.
• Oversee invoice processing by 3rd-party provider.
• Maintain and refine SOPs to uphold best practices.
• Oversee data flow across supply chain and provider.
• Collaborate with VSRM, category management, brands, finance, IT.
• Provide ad hoc analyses for business decisions.
• Develop and publish department KPI reporting.
• Set department goals and drive accountability.
• Liaise between department and other areas.
• Evaluate AP processes for improvements.
• Advocate for robust internal controls.
• Other duties as needed.
