Job summary

Top Score Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time, in-home high school tutor to support students in Northern Virginia, DC, or Maryland. You will conduct 60–120 minute private lessons in student homes, weekdays 4–10 pm, and/or weekends, focusing on AP Literature and AP Language.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in English with experience teaching AP courses, strong organization, and clear, proactive communication with families. This role offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (English, Humanities, Education, or related field preferred).
• Experience tutoring AP Literature and AP Language strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Academic planning and instruction for AP Literature/Language and high school English.
• Conduct 60–120 minute private lessons in student homes, weekdays 4–10 pm, and/or weekends.
