Quest Diagnostics AmeriPath North Texas based in Lewisville, TX is seeking an AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist to join a team of 19 pathologists. You will handle a diverse case mix across GYN, GU, Breast, ENT, and GI biopsy pathology.

The ideal candidate is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with 2–3 years post-residency experience, TX license eligibility, and a strong customer focus for laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency.
• Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Subspecialty fellowship is desirable, but not required.
• 2-3 years post residency experience desired.
• Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in TX or be eligible to obtain licensure.
• Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted.
• Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.
• Ability to communicate with decision makers in the laboratory and Company.

Responsibilities

• Handle an interesting variety of cases including Women’s Health (GYN) including GYN Cytology, GU, Breast, Head and Neck (ENT) pathology, and a smaller volume of GI biopsies.

AmeriPath has over 400 highly trained, board-certified pathologists and Ph.D. level scientists providing services to physicians, hospitals, clinical laboratories, and ambulatory surgery centers across the United States.
