Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with accredited pathology residency.
• Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Cytopathology board certification a plus.
• 2–3 years post-residency experience desired.
• Ability to spend long hours at the microscope interpreting tissues.

Responsibilities

• Handle Surgical Pathology cases, including large resections/biopsies, Breast, Gynecology, Genitourinary, and Cytopathology.
• Rotate to cover frozens and provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Engage in medical directorship responsibilities at Arlington Memorial Hospital and USMD Hospital Arlington.
