Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking a driven professional to support Accounts Payable automation and digital transformation initiatives in a hybrid role based in Pittsburgh. You will analyze process issues, document requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to drive data-driven improvements.

You will also participate in UAT, testing, and deployment readiness while contributing to training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and practical recommendations.
• Continuous-learning and automation mindset, with curiosity in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
• Strong UAT/testing skills, including test scenarios, execution, defect documentation and validation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365, with willingness to learn ERP, workflow, reporting, and automation tools.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, OpenText VIM, or Power Platform preferred.
• Foundational understanding of Accounts Payable, invoice processing, controls, GL, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Hybrid role with on-site presence in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AP automation issues and identify improvements across processes and data.
• Document business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders and service providers.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts; execute UAT and coordinate defect resolution.
• Create and maintain key business documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Support training, change adoption and knowledge transfer; develop AP/ERP knowledge.
• Lead NORAM projects through full lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
