Job summary

LANXESS in Pittsburgh is seeking a Treasury professional to own daily cash positioning for the U.S. and Canada and to manage reconciliations, payments and liquidity controls. The role includes producing treasury analysis, maintaining bank records and leading digital-channel initiatives.

You will collaborate across Finance, Legal, Sustainability and IT, drive automation projects, and support audits while working in a hybrid model with on-site presence in Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate Treasury and cash management, including bank operations, reconciliations, payments, cash receipts and banking controls.
• Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to carry issues through resolution.
• Clear communication and business-partnering skills across functions and stakeholder groups.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and ability to learn ERP, Treasury management, banking and analytics tools with responsible AI usage.
• Treasury/finance, banking, process-improvement or analytics credentials preferred.
• HYBRID role with on-site Pittsburgh office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own daily U.S. and Canada cash positioning and reconciliations, resolve exceptions, coordinate correcting entries and escape liquidity or control issues.
• Execute and monitor manual, urgent and exception payments within policy and delegated authority, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Manage check and cash-receipt processing, identify remittances, resolve unidentified receipts and promote digital channels.
• Produce Treasury reporting and analysis explaining cash and liquidity drivers and supporting decisions across units.
• Maintain bank-account records, signatories, KYC docs and digital-banking access with reviews.
• Develop Treasury improvements using AI, analytics and automation with data protection and human review.
• Coordinate Sustainability-linked Treasury activities, including CITSS/ETS, calendars, documentation and cash settlement.
• Partner across Finance, Business Units, Legal, Sustainability and IT to resolve issues, maintain procedures, and support audits.
