Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking an AP Automation Analyst to support established Accounts Payable automation, identify data-driven process improvements, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, testing, and maintaining project documentation in a hybrid Pittsburgh environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Continuous-learning mindset with interest in digital transformation and automation.
• Attention to detail and UAT/testing skills with test scenarios and defect documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AP automation issues, identify improvements, and monitor solutions.
• Assist root-cause analysis and implement enhancements; maintain project docs.
• Support UAT, testing, and system enhancements with test data and scripts.
• Create and maintain process docs, reports, and business cases; communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support training, change management, and knowledge transfer.
• Lead NORAM projects through full lifecycle and coordinate across time zones.
