Job summary

True Oil LLC, part of True Companies, is hiring an on-site accounting clerk in Casper, WY. You will handle AP entries, data entry, and data validation to keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.

The role requires a high school diploma with 2+ years in accounting, solid Excel/Word/Outlook skills, and familiarity with basic databases. Join a team that supports growth with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, computer reports and accounts receivable or accounts payable reports.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software applications.
• Understanding of basic database programs.
• Ability to use 10-key by touch.

Responsibilities

• Performs transactional AP entries.
• Performs advanced data entry into multiple accounting systems.
• Reviews and validates data entries.
• Performs complex account reconciliations.
• Utilizes and analyzes data reporting.
• Drafts and creates standard operating procedures and workflows.
• Works with internal customers and vendors to resolve questions and problems.
• Prioritize invoices to meet payment deadlines and take advantage of discounts.
• Performs higher level projects as assigned.
