Responsibilities

• Assist with processing vendor invoices and entering data.
• Support accounts payable/receivable functions and documentation.
• Help with project billing, reconciliations, and closeout activities for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Assist with processing and entering vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Help match invoices with purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation.
• Assist with maintaining vendor records and payment documentation.
• Support weekly or monthly payment processing.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with project managers and internal teams.

Accounts Receivable

• Assist with preparing and processing AIA project billings.
• Help track outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due balances.
• Support collection and reconciliation activities.
• Help research billing discrepancies and customer account questions.
• Assist with preparing accounts receivable reports.
• Assist with lien waiver and compliance documentation as needed.

Construction Accounting Support

• Support month-end accounting and project closeout activities.
• Perform data entry, filing, reconciliations, and other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to commute reliably to the office
• Proficient on a PC/Windows platform
