Job summary

Jets.com in Staten Island, New York, is seeking an AP Accountant to ensure accurate ledger entries and reconcile subsidiary ledgers. The role offers hands-on growth in a rapidly expanding multi-state company with on-site responsibilities.

Responsibilities include owning the full AP cycle for OpEx, processing high-volume payments, and assisting in month-end closings, audits, and budgeting. A degree in accounting and 3+ years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years in a similar AP/accounting role.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong attention to detail required.
• Experience with high-volume AP processes and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the full AP cycle for standard OpEx.
• Perform high-volume daily AP payments and reconcile to ledgers.
• Assist in month-end close with AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and reconciliations.
• Support external auditors and budget processes as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and pursue process improvements.
