Job summary

Pfizer Kalamazoo is seeking a Production Lead I to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple formulation and packaging activities. You will coordinate with shop floor teams and cross-functional partners to ensure safe, compliant production and on-time delivery of products.

The role emphasizes GMP, continuous improvement, and strong leadership. You will mentor staff, participate in audits, and support process qualifications and capital projects in a 24/7 onsite setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Excellent communication across departments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production schedules while ensuring GMP compliance.
• Act as liaison between operations, maintenance, technical support, planning, and management to resolve issues.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes and equipment using Lean and CI principles.
• Provide technical mentorship and support troubleshooting and investigations.
• Support training and qualification of team members; mentor colleagues.
• Represent operations in audits, capital projects, and new product introductions.
