Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix seeks an experienced Aerospace Operating System (AOS) Site Leader to drive Lean transformation and implement AOS across the site. You will partner with Site Leader and AOS Global Operations Leader to set the roadmap and align priorities.

You will coach leaders, run improvement events, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to support growth and efficiency. Travel to other locations for training as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of Lean Manufacturing and OS principles experience.
• At least 8 years of project management experience.
• Experience influencing and communicating with frontline employees, site leadership, and senior executives.
• Ability to travel to other locations for training or project support (limited).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, prioritizes and organizes improvement events and AOS courses to create value for the unit.
• Manages or leads strategic and operational business challenges.
• Fosters a continuous improvement mindset with respective methods and tools.
• Supports and/or orchestrates the Hoshin Kanri process for the site.
• Supports and/or orchestrates productivity generation activities.
• Coaches peers and key managers on promoting and using AOS.
• Acts as a thought leader for an Agile and Lean mindset.
• Advances AOS through sharing success stories and recognizing stakeholders.
• Orchestrates and leads AOS community and enablers.
• Drives and manages AOS qualifications of employees.
• Active member of the global AOS community.
• Collaborates with the AOS office to execute the AOS strategy.
• Leads and executes change management across employee population.

As an Aerospace Operating System (AOS) Site Leader here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a critical leader in the development and site-wide deployment for the Aerospace Operating System (AOS), driving the transformation of operational performance across the site or multi sites.

You will partner closely with Site Leader and AOS Global Operations Leader to establish the AOS roadmap, align strategic priorities, and enable scalable implementation across functions within the site including but not exclusive to planning, materials, sourcing, and quality.

As the key thought leader and change agent, this individual will coach leaders, drive method development and continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes spanning procurement, planning, production, distribution, and logistics to support long-term growth, operational efficiency, and cultural transformation.

• Coordinates, prioritizes & organizes improvement events and AOS courses to create value for the unit
• Manages or leads relevant, strategic & operational business challenges

YOU MUST HAVE

• At least 8 years of practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Operating Systems principles and tools
• At least 8 years of project management experience gained through both strategic and tactic change projects
• Experience influencing and communicating effectively with frontline employees, site leadership, and senior executives, including leading cross-functional initiatives and presenting business outcomes to leadership teams.
• Ability to travel to other locations for training or project support (limited)

WE VALUE

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master of Business Administration is a plus
• Experience in various areas of operations is strongly preferred, i.e. production, planning, procurement, logistics or similar
• Successful track record in leading without formal authority
• Proven experiences in driving results & coaching teams/peers across departments
• Experience in developing and sustaining networks / communities
• Leadership qualities & experience in motivating and developing diverse teams
• 8 Years of Practical experience facilitating improvement events
