Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Aerospace Operating System (AOS) Site Leader to drive site-wide deployment and transformation of operational performance. You will partner with Site Leader and AOS Global Operations Leader to set the AOS roadmap and enable scalable implementation across planning, materials, sourcing, and quality.

You will coach leaders, drive continuous improvement, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to support growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years applying Lean Manufacturing and OS principles.
  • Minimum 8 years of project management across strategic and tactical change projects.
  • Experience influencing and communicating with frontline employees, site leadership, and senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize improvement events and AOS courses to create value.
  • Lead strategic and operational business challenges.
  • Foster continuous improvement mindset with AOS methods and tools.
  • Support and/or orchestrate Hoshin Kanri for the site.
  • Lead productivity generation activities.

Job Description

As an Aerospace Operating System (AOS) Site Leader here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a critical leader in the development and site-wide deployment for the Aerospace Operating System (AOS), driving the transformation of operational performance across the site or multi sites.

You will partner closely with Site Leader and AOS Global Operations Leader to establish the AOS roadmap, align strategic priorities, and enable scalable implementation across functions within the site including but not exclusive to planning, materials, sourcing, and quality.

As the key thought leader and change agent, this individual will coach leaders, drive method development and continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes spanning procurement, planning, production, distribution, and logistics to support long-term growth, operational efficiency, and cultural transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates, prioritizes & organizes improvement events and AOS courses to create value for the unit
  • Manages or leads relevant, strategic & operational business challenges
  • Fosters a continuous improvement mindset with respective methods and tools
  • Supports and/or orchestrates the Hoshin Kanri process for the site
  • Supports and/or orchestrates productivity generation activities
  • Coaches peers & key managers inside the unit on the promotion & use of AOS
  • Acts as a thought leader for an Agile & Lean mindset
  • Advances AOS through sharing of success stories & recognition of stakeholders
  • Orchestrates, coaches & leads AOS community & key enablers
  • Drives, motivates & manages AOS qualifications of employees
  • Active member of the global, companywide AOS community
  • Collaborate with the AOS office to execute the AOS strategy
  • Leads and execute change management across employee population
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • At least 8 years of practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Operating Systems principles and tools
  • At least 8 years of project management experience gained through both strategic and tactic change projects
  • Experience influencing and communicating effectively with frontline employees, site leadership, and senior executives, including leading cross-functional initiatives and presenting business outcomes to leadership teams.
  • Ability to travel to other locations for training or project support (limited)
WE VALUE
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master of Business Administration is a plus
  • Experience in various areas of operations is strongly preferred, i.e. production, planning, procurement, logistics or similar
  • Successful track record in leading without formal authority
  • Proven experiences in driving results & coaching teams/peers across departments
  • Experience in developing and sustaining networks / communities
  • Leadership qualities & experience in motivating and developing diverse teams
  • 8 Years of Practical experience facilitating improvement events
  • Ability to Inspire & lead without authority
  • Alignment to Honeywell Aerospace values, behaviors and principles, with experience and focus on customer outcomes, transformation, innovation, end-to-end ownership, and teamwork
  • Ability to be an active listener and empathetic
