Job summary

synqor-careers is seeking an AOI Technician to support inspection and manufacturing, creating AOI programs and resolving equipment issues. You will collaborate with Production and Engineering to optimize processes and ensure accurate quality checks in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED / Vocational Technical Education is required.
• Associates Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or similar degree is preferred.
• Must have strong Electrical/Mechanical skills and Computer skills
• Previous experience within an electronic or electromechanical manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and create visual inspection programs for the AOI machine.
• Work with the Quality Engineers to tune programs to the proper inspection criteria.
• Work with the AOI Disposition operators to maintain good flow of the inspection process.
• Troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a timely manner.
• Identify equipment and process problems, as they occur, in the production environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the inspection machine.
• Maintain critical parts inventory and order spare parts as necessary.
• Support Production as required to keep product flowing.
• Support and advance company safe work practices.
• Suggest improvements to better the flow of the manufacturing process.
• Participate in the continuous improvement process / manufacturing improvement teams.
