Alaska Airlines is seeking an AOG Response Specialist to resolve Aircraft-on-Ground events by developing logistics, sourcing, and procurement solutions. You will work with Engineering and other stakeholders to minimize AOG occurrences and drive process improvements across the supply chain.

The role requires deep knowledge of aircraft material logistics, procurement, and sourcing, with opportunities to mentor teammates and lead strategic initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of experience in material support department, preferably in airline or third-party maintenance vendor operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
• Comfortable interfacing with all levels within the Maintenance & Engineering organization.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and administer system-wide material support for AOG, deferred maintenance, and heavy maintenance requirements.
• Create and manage the life cycle of requisition through to receipt, issuance of material to the aircraft, and return of off-units.
• Review technical acceptance and make recommendations to ensure compliance with maintenance manual references.
• Partner with M&E stakeholders to resolve AOG events and maintain MEL/CDL/PLT guidelines.
• Manage arrival time for materials to the Maintenance Operations Manager and report status changes affecting aircraft readiness.
• Lead adherence to SMS and company policies across all levels.
