Job summary

Breeze Airways seeks an experienced Materials AOG Coordinator to source and coordinate critical parts for aircraft on ground events. You will manage procurement, borrow agreements, and loaner part transfers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.

You will collaborate with MOC, Planning, Purchasing, and Maintenance teams to minimize unscheduled ground time and optimize shipping strategies for cost efficiency. Strong negotiation, Excel, and TRAX skills are a must.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in airline/aviation materials handling or procurement.
• 2+ years of purchasing experience and/or inventory planning and logistics.
• General understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR part 121 operations.
• Must be able to pass a ten-year background check and obtain an airport security badge.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
• High-performance orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Self-starter with positive attitude and goal orientation.
• Authorization to work in the US as defined by law.

Responsibilities

• Procure and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet AOG requirements to avoid delays or cancellations.
• Oversee all material requirements during AOG situations.
• Coordinate MEL, CDL, and NEF materials with MOC to support maintenance schedule.
• Follow up to ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinate and expedite transfer of parts and open purchase orders.
• Coordinate acquisition of loaner parts from other airlines and create borrow/rental orders.
• Review billing for accuracy and track loaned/borrowed parts.
• Ensure borrowed parts are returned and minimize borrowing events.
• Supervise movement of parts via domestic/international transport networks.
• Implement effective shipping strategies to reduce cost and improve transfers.
• Liaise between Maintenance Operations Control, Planning, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Repair/Warranty teams.
• Provide status updates on open requisitions and purchase orders at daily Operations meetings.
• Evaluate purchases for compliance with regulations and Breeze policies.
