Job summary

ABX Air, Inc. is seeking a Line Maintenance Specialist to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on commercial aircraft. This role requires extensive domestic and international travel to support AOG or chronic system issues, and the ability to work independently.

On-call travel to AOG aircraft will be required. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and an A&P License, plus at least four years of hands-on experience with commercial aircraft.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A&P License required.
• At least four years of experience working on commercial type aircraft.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and management.
• Planning and organizational skills to manage workload across multiple projects.
• Proven knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide expert maintenance support for aging wiring using diagrams and schematics.
• Travel frequently to ABX system locations, domestically and internationally, including on-call AOG support.
