Our client, a premier international AmLaw 50 firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office. The role involves handling significant merger reviews, government investigations, antitrust litigation, and compliance counseling for multinational clients.

The successful candidate will work with leading antitrust practitioners, advising clients on complex competition issues across industries, while developing expertise in enforcement actions and strategic deal work.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 3-4 years of post-JD experience in antitrust and competition law.
• Experience handling antitrust litigation, merger review matters, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience representing clients before FTC/DOJ and state attorneys general preferred.
• Knowledge of merger clearance processes, cartel investigations, and government enforcement actions.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during investigations conducted by the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general.
• Conduct legal research and analysis involving complex competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memoranda.
• Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support transactional and litigation matters.
• Monitor developments in antitrust enforcement and competition policy.
