Job summary

GondolaBio, located on the Stanford Life Sciences campus in Palo Alto, seeks a scientist to join the biologics discovery group. You will advance novel antibodies through binding and cell-based assays, contributing to translational studies and CRO partnerships.

The role requires a PhD with 2+ years industry experience, strong immunology and protein engineering skills, and a collaborative, fast-paced mindset in a world-class R&D environment.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology or related discipline with 2+ years hands-on industry experience.
  • MS/BS candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design and perform studies for antibody discovery and validation (binding assays, flow cytometry, BLI).
  • Support translational studies to elucidate mechanism and biology for drug candidates, including biomarker development, in vivo model evaluation.
  • Identify and manage CROs to complement internal efforts.
  • Analyze data and present findings to the team.
  • Maintain thorough laboratory records and contribute to reports and publications.
  • Communicate effectively with team and collaborators.
