Moderna is seeking a Principal Scientist to join the Antibody Discovery team in Therapeutics Research. Qualifications
- PhD in immunology/biochemistry with 5+ years in antibody discovery.
- Proven ability to lead discovery campaigns from concept to nomination.
- Deep expertise in antibody engineering and display technologies.
- Experience with CRO management and external partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated antibody discovery and engineering campaigns from concept to lead nomination.
- Design discovery strategies including immunization, B cell screening, and display-based engineering.
- Oversee antibody generation, maturation, humanization, and format conversion.
- Characterize candidates across binding, developability, and mechanism of action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external CROs to drive programs.
