Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will apply the nursing process in assessments, planning, and care interventions, and work with physicians and clinicians to execute patient care plans.

Education includes a nursing degree with RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred and ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required by area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure is required; BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Use the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
