St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Antepartum to lead patient-centered care on the unit during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct nursing care, support staff, and drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• C-EFM certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Associate degree required.
• No travel required.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement (rounding, hourly rounds, etc.).
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, staff training, development, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
