Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking an Antenna Mechanical Design Engineer to design advanced antenna components and perform environmental testing in a hands-on role. You will collaborate with an experienced team to develop composite reflectors, MAGE, and feeds while ensuring compliance with specs.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering, has at least 2 years of CAD/GD&T experience (CREO preferred), and is ready to contribute to aerospace programs

Qualifications

U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering; MS may account for additional experience.
2 years of experience including 3D CAD modeling and GD&T (CREO preferred).

Responsibilities

Mechanical design of antenna components including large composite reflectors, MAGE, and feeds.
Determine specifications for design, development, test and production activities.
Provide technical consultation to management and other engineering staff.
Design, document and report on engineering progress for projects.
Provide floor support to manufacturing during builds.
Test units (vibration, thermal, acoustic, shock).
