Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Antenna Engineer (Starshield) to design and validate advanced antennas, feeds, and RF front ends for national security programs. You will work on phased array and reflector systems, fabricate prototypes, and contribute to software validation of beamforming.

The role requires a bachelor's in EE or CE and 1+ years in RF/antenna work, with familiarity in 3D EM tools and RF concepts. A fast-paced startup mindset and potential TS clearance are preferred, with competitive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or computer engineering.
1+ years RF/antenna development experience (internships acceptable).
Experience with RF concepts: impedance matching, SMITH chart, IIP2, IMD.

Responsibilities

Design advanced antenna and feed systems for phased array and reflector products.
Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feeds, and RF front ends.
Develop software and test digital beamforming to demonstrate phased array functionality.
Provide phased array expertise to set specifications and debug issues on satellite products.
Lead or support antenna integration to spacecraft and other systems.
Analyze RF performance data from the field and identify improvements.
