Job summary

Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation (GSC) seeks a Steward - Food Services for Austral Winter at McMurdo Station. You will help produce high-quality meals while upholding sanitation and safety standards in a demanding remote environment.

Role requires teamwork, ability to work long shifts, and adherence to procedure. Seasonal deployment with meals for field parties and flight crews, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• ServSafe Food Handler certificate must be obtained prior to deployment to Antarctica.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid U.S. Passport.
• Minimum of six months related experience.
• US citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and sanitation in kitchen, dining and service areas.
• Provide exceptional service and coordinate with cooks and dining staff.
• Prepare and chill beverages and frozen dessert mixes for community use.
• Lift and move up to safety-regulated maximum, and stand for long hours.
