Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Seasonal Construction Superintendent to support the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program under the Antarctic Support Contract. The role oversees Facilities Trades personnel on construction and installation projects, coordinating with multiple departments and ensuring project plans are followed in remote, extreme conditions.

Required are a High School diploma or GED and at least four years of responsible construction supervision, including

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum four years of responsible construction supervision experience.
• Experience supervising craft foremen and craftsmen.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Experience in construction and maintenance of commercial/industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise activities of Facilities Trades personnel on station construction projects.
• Supervise hands-on construction and installation tasks following plans and schedules.
• Create project schedules, updates, and progress reports in electronic format.
• Coordinate labor and material with other departments and project coordinators.
• Identify design or specification changes prior to construction.
