Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) is offering an Annual Reporting Intern position in the Active Management Area Section. The hybrid role combines remote work with two days in Phoenix, focusing on annual reporting, data management, and process improvements within the AMA and INAs programs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled in school pursuing a related degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in groundwater, water resources and compliance.
• Experience with data entry and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Assist during annual reporting season by scanning, manifesting, and uploading documents.
• Help send notices to right holders about reporting requirements.
• Assist with address research to ensure notices are received.
• Identify process improvements.
• Support data management and public records tasks.
• Provide customer follow up on amendments or issues.
