Job summary

Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) seeks a Water Resources Specialist 3 to support the Assured and Adequate Water Supply (AAWS) program. The role focuses on reviewing DAWS applications, analyzing hydrologic studies, and preparing determinations in line with ARS, AAC, and ADWR policies.

Hybrid work options are available with required on-site presence in Phoenix. Strong quantitative and regulatory analysis skills are essential for success in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing hydrologic studies, analyses, and legal documents.
• Knowledge of ARS, AAC, and ADWR policies.
• Ability to draft technical memoranda and determinations.

Responsibilities

• Review DAWS and related applications for compliance with statutes and policies.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and ensure timely, accurate determinations.
