Job summary

Hatctx is seeking a Special Projects Intern to support the Executive Assistant to the CEO by coordinating the development and production of the Housing Authority of Travis County’s Annual Report. You will gather content, data, photos, and stories from multiple departments to showcase programs and community impact.

This hands‑on internship offers experience in communications, project management, data visualization, and public‑sector reporting, with an eight-week term at $10–$15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and develop HATC's Annual Report and a one-page summary.
• Gather information, statistics, accomplishments, and program highlights from departments.
• Interview staff to capture project summaries and resident success stories.
• Research and verify data for accuracy and consistency.
• Organize charts, graphs, infographics, photographs, and visuals.
• Coordinate with departments to collect photos, updates, and documentation.
• Proofread, format, and ensure quality assurance before publication.
• Support branding and visual identity in communications.
• Handle other communications and special assignments as needed.
