Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking an THMA Annual Giving and Appeals Coordinator in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time role leads annual giving strategies, donor segmentation, and stewardship programs, coordinating with clinical staff to tell impactful donor stories.

You will manage direct mail and digital appeals, oversee the colleague giving initiative, and work with philanthropy operations to analyze performance and report outcomes. Flexible schedules and onsite parking support the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in philanthropy, business, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Experience managing annual giving programs incl. direct mail, digital campaigns, and donor retention strategies.
• Experience with donor databases and reporting; ability to prepare reports and present data.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with attention to deadlines and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and execution of annual giving strategies (direct mail, digital campaigns, grateful patient).
• Oversee segmentation, personalization, and donor journey mapping for annual giving audiences.
• Manage annual colleague giving initiative across THMA locations.
• Develop calendar/content for direct mail and electronic appeals.
• Collaborate on collateral material for annual and colleague giving.
• Identify donor stories with clinical staff to highlight impact for donors.
• Evaluate campaign performance and provide trend analysis with philanthropy operations colleagues.
• Implement donor stewardship and retention programs, including personalized communications and impact reporting.
• Support events, donor tours, and campaign launches with logistics and scheduling.
• Maintain stewardship calendars and ensure timely donor updates and reports.
