Job summary

Avow Foundation Inc. is seeking an Annual Giving Specialist to strategize, organize, and implement the annual fund program supporting the organization's fundraising goals.

The role emphasizes donor cultivation, stewardship, and collaboration with the Communications team to advance campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree preferred and at least 1 year of fundraising or nonprofit experience, with strong writing and interpersonal skills to engage donors, volunteers, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1 year fundraising/development experience or 2+ years membership management, sales, marketing or PR in a non-profit.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills; able to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors across channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to identify annual donors, maintain giving frequencies, and grow gift amounts year over year.
• Manage memorial brick and bench program and oversee donor recognition initiatives.
• Lead annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and coordinate with communications for collateral and social media.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on annual fund activities.
• Coordinate and lead Avow’s internal employee giving program through cultivation and stewardship.
• Oversee donor communications, thank yous, and staff outreach for Grateful Families and Shining Stars.
• Support strategic planning and events for fundraising initiatives.
