Job summary

Rhodes College is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead the organization, planning, and execution of the annual giving program. The role focuses on increasing gifts from all constituents and supporting restricted and deferred giving through strategic campaigns.

The position supervises four staff members, collaborates on capital campaigns, and travels as needed. Strong communication, leadership, and fundraising experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving program.
• Lead the Annual Fund team to meet participation and dollar goals.
• Recruit, educate, and evaluate Annual Fund staff.
• Travel as needed and participate in evening/weekend activities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and prospects to solicit gifts.
