Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) is seeking an Assistant Director of Annual Giving in Madison, WI to shape and execute integrated annual giving campaigns that deepen donor relationships and advance philanthropic support.

This hybrid role collaborates across marketing, development, and campus partners, driving targeted outreach and performance-driven stewardship for alumni and friends of UW–Madison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of annual giving and/or development experience.
• Knowledge of annual giving strategies, direct response marketing, and comprehensive fundraising programs.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• High proficiency with MS Office products.
• Ability to innovate and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plan for engagement and solicitation of alumni and friends through the Annual Campaign.
• Grow scope, efficiency and effectiveness of multichannel campaigns.
• Collaborate with team members and campus partners on integrated messaging, solicitation and stewardship.
• Increase participation across audiences using multichannel strategies.
• Collaborate with all members of the Annual Giving team to optimize the donor experience.
• Analyze data with the Data Analyst to drive campaign performance and build targeted audiences.
• Share insights with campus partners and refine segmentation; monitor trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage Campaigns budget and draft communications for internal and external audiences.
