Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of experience in higher education or the non-profit sector.
• Proficiency with fundraising databases and software.
• Knowledge of Kentucky State University's history, mission, and values is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement annual fundraising campaigns to support the university's programs and initiatives.
• Create fundraising appeals and materials to engage donors and alumni.
• Coordinate online and offline fundraising efforts (email campaigns, direct mail, phone-a-thons, crowdfunding).
• Develop strategies to grow the annual giving rate and cultivate donor relationships.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for fundraising events and campaigns.
• Assist donor relations with acknowledgement and stewardship activities.
• Provide event support including logistics and on-site management.
• Maintain accurate donor records and prepare fundraising progress reports.
