Job summary

Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a full-time Crossroads Annual Fund Manager to lead the strategy, planning and execution of the school’s $5M annual fund. You will work closely with the Director of Development and the advancement team to increase donor participation and unrestricted support across all constituents.

This role combines campaign management, volunteer leadership and frontline fundraising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years fundraising experience with demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, stewarding and managing donor relationships
• Experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive with initiative and independent progress
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; professional representation of Crossroads
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and fundraising technology (e.g., Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT; GiveCampus and Canva a plus)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion; travel and occasional evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fund strategy to meet or exceed the $5M goal
• Create and manage solicitation calendars across mail, email, digital communications and personal solicitations
• Lead donor segmentation, personalized solicitations and donor upgrade opportunities
• Coordinate with Alumni Relations on timing and strategy of solicitations
• Collaborate with the Database Manager on reports and analytics to monitor growth and trends
• Recruit, train and manage annual fund volunteers and gatekeeper materials
• Solicit and close annual fund gifts; cultivate new leadership donor prospects
• Perform other duties as assigned
