Job summary

3M is hiring an Infrastructure IT Analyst to support hardware and software across workstations, printers, servers, and networking at the Knoxville site. The role emphasizes IT security, compliance, and maintaining operational procedures within a manufacturing environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's in IT with 5+ years of IT experience (or a High School Diploma with 8+ years). Onsite work five days a week with potential travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with 5+ years IT experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years IT experience in manufacturing or related environments.
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft PCs is expected.
  • Experience with networking and security protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide standard hardware support for workstations, laptops, tablets, printers, RF devices, servers, and networking.
  • Provide standard software support for Windows OS, MS Office, Lotus Notes DB, and security tools.
  • Maintain site dashboards for computers, printers, servers, networking devices, IT work tickets and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, security requirements and operational procedures.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
  • Providing standard and local hardware support for: workstations, laptops, tablets, Zebra & HP Printers, RF devices, servers, and networking.
  • Providing standard and local software support for: Windows OS & MS Office suites, Lotus Notes DB, and Security tools.
  • Maintaining site dashboards for computers, printers, servers, networking equipment, IT work tickets & PC/server vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain compliance with IT standards, security requirements, and operational procedures
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology (completed and verified prior to start) and Five (5) years' experience in Information Technology in a manufacturing, private, public, government, or military environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and Eight (8) years' experience in Information Technology in a manufacturing, distribution center, private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Experience working with RF devices, Zebra and HP printers, Network switches, Firewalls hardware and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft PCs.
  • Experience with networking and associated security protocols.
Work location:

Knoxville, IA (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
