Job summary

Jobgether is listing a 5-month freelance Animation Producer role for a distributed, fully remote international team. You will manage day-to-day operations of the Animation department, drive Jira-driven project tracking, and coordinate with artists, leadership, Production, Design, Code, Tech Animation and VFX.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in game production focused on Animation, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of game development pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in game production or related role focused on Animation.
• Strong organizational skills and Jira experience.
• Good understanding of game development pipelines.
• Previous Animation Production experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational management of the Animation department.
• Maintain accurate Jira tickets, including estimates, statuses, priorities, and ownership.
• Track end-of-day updates, time logging, and identify inconsistencies.
• Work closely with animators, Animation leadership, Production, Design, Code, Tech Animation, and VFX.
• Capture actions from meetings and ensure they are tracked.
• Follow up on outstanding decisions and resolve gaps.
