Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ years old at appointment.
• Two years of experience in animal welfare, animal rescue, social work, veterinary or human services.
• One year of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with open admissions shelter strongly preferred.
• Experience handling domestic animals and/or wildlife strongly preferred.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with animal-related appointments, intakes, and reunifications.
• Provide high-quality customer service to the public and staff.
• Address general inquiries and coordinate with departments as needed.
• Track data and document customer welfare needs via email, phone, and in-person visits.
• Support essential and emergency services as required.
