Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a capable professional to join the Developmental & Reproductive Toxicology (DART) team in Everett, WA. You will support fertility and developmental studies in rat and rabbit models, perform dosing and sample collection, and assist with necropsy and developmental assessments.

Required are a HS diploma or GED with 1–3 years of lab animal experience; a BS/BA in a scientific discipline is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with laboratory animals.
• Experience with gestational animal models and reproductive toxicology procedures.
• Proficiency handling rats and/or rabbits and performing research procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support fertility, embryo-fetal development and pre/postnatal studies in rats and rabbits.
• Perform animal observations, dosing, sample collection, and study procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia, catheter placement, and reproductive assessments.
• Conduct fetal collections, tissue collection, necropsy, and developmental evaluations.
• Maintain study documentation in compliance with GLP regulations, protocols, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Study Directors, Veterinary Services and Operations teams.
