Altasciences in Everett, WA is seeking an Animal Research Technician to support regulated DART studies in rats and rabbits, with a strong focus on animal welfare and data integrity. You will perform specialized procedures, collect samples, and assist with reproductive and developmental endpoints under GLP guidelines.

The role requires experience with laboratory animals, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced CRO setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with laboratory animals in a research environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support regulated DART studies in rats and rabbits, including reproductive and developmental endpoints.
• Observe animals and report changes in health or behavior.
• Collect biological samples and assist with necropsy activities as required.
• Assist with anesthesia, gestational timelines, and tissue collection under GLP protocols.
• Collaborate with Study Directors and veterinary staff to ensure data quality and welfare.
