Altasciences in Everett, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support fertility and embryo-fetal development studies in rats and rabbits within our DART team.

You will perform observations, dosing, sample collection, necropsy, and reproductive assessments under GLP-compliant protocols while collaborating with Study Directors, Veterinary Services, and Operations. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates moving to Everett, WA.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with laboratory animals in a research environment.
• Experience with gestational animal models and/or reproductive toxicology procedures.
• Proficiency handling rats and/or rabbits and performing research procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Support fertility, embryo-fetal development (EFD), and pre/postnatal development studies in rats and rabbits.
• Perform animal observations, dosing, biological sample collection, and study procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia, sedation, catheter placement, and reproductive assessments.
• Conduct fetal collections, tissue collection, necropsy activities, and developmental evaluations.
• Maintain accurate study documentation in compliance with GLP regulations, protocols, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Study Directors, Veterinary Services, and Operations teams.
• Support multiple studies while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and data integrity.

What We're Looking For

• A HS diploma and/or GED is required; BS/BA in a scientific discipline preferred.
• 1 – 3 yrs experience working with laboratory animals in a research environment.
• Experience with gestational animal models and/or reproductive toxicology procedures required.
