Job summary

Merck invites a Territory Manager to join our Animal Health division in the United States. You will engage veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts, tailoring solutions to each customer and driving pull-through aligned with our strategy “The Science of Healthier Animals.” You will cover the South Central New York territory and may reside within or near the region.

Responsibilities include account planning, cross-team collaboration, and ongoing education of customers on our portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant work experience (sales, distribution, marketing, healthcare, or related fields).
• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact face to face with customers and understand their needs.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and meet with decision-makers.
• Develop territory plans and collaborate with account teams to drive sales growth.
• Foster knowledge of Animal Health portfolio across teams and partners.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
