Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with 2 years related experience.
• All required certifications may apply.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts animal control investigations, including questioning owners, identifying witnesses, and photographing evidence; issues warnings, citations, and/or court summons.
• Responds to complaints by capturing animals and transporting to shelters; performs related tasks.
• Attends events to control crowds, respond to protestors, and perform related tasks.
• Patrols areas to identify unlicensed or stray animals and enforce licensing requirements.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and performs data entry.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance, including required meetings.
