Denver Animal Protection is seeking an Animal Protection Sergeant to lead the field team, overseeing investigations, enforcement actions, scheduling, and discipline. The role includes training staff and serving as a liaison with city attorneys and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Animal Protection Officers, provide subject matter expertise in investigations and enforcement actions, oversee scheduling, discipline, and review of criminal summonses issued by team members.
• Provides training, mentors new and current employees, conducts regular 1-on-1 meetings with staff, acts as a liaison between DAP and the city attorneys, community partners, and stakeholders.
