Qualifications

• One year related experience for Level I.

Responsibilities

• Responds to complaints concerning animals at large, cruelty, injury, nuisance, and attacks.
• Investigates animal bites, checks rabies vaccination status, quarantines when needed.
• Assumes on-call emergency responsibilities and transports injured animals.
• Issues warnings and citations for violations and testifies in county/criminal proceedings.
• Handles and transports injured wildlife and exotic mammals, and performs emergency first aid.
