Qualifications

• Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related role or environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain paperwork for animal housing and care.
• Coordinate veterinary care through intake of health reports.
• Care for canines in the adoption program and assist with training.
• Communicate with investigators to meet research and animal care needs.
• Maintain census software and inventory for animals.
• Assist with training and evaluating new animal care staff.
• Arrange facilities tasks: work orders, supplies, cleaning, equipment.
• Update online animal use compliance website and assist with monthly billing in eCompliance.
• Perform compliance checks in animal rooms to meet regulations.
• Support animal transports and related paperwork.
