UTHealth Houston is seeking an Animal Attendant to care for laboratory animals under supervision, adhering to humane and sanitary practices. You will perform cage cleaning, feeding, and daily care while following established procedures and safety rules.

The Animal Attendant, under close supervision, provides care for laboratory animals in a humane, safe and sanitary manner using appropriate equipment and established procedures. Performs custodial maintenance duties, including cage processing, and related services, to provide proper care to a section or unit of a building.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum Experience: None Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Security Sensitive: This position is a security-sensitive position pursuant to Texas Education Code
