Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Experience operating POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in selecting fishing tackle, rods, reels, bait, apparel, and accessories.
• Share product knowledge, local fishing information, and techniques where appropriate.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays.
• Receive, unpack, and inventory shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Assist with seasonal promotions, events, and in-store demonstrations.
